Mirrorless · From 2012
Fujifilm announced the X-mount in January 2012 with the X-Pro1, and it's been on every interchangeable-lens X body since, from the X-Pro and X-E rangefinder styles to the X-T and X-H lines. It's built for APS-C sensors only, with a 17.7 mm flange distance. Fujifilm's own XF and XC lenses make up most of the catalog, joined by Zeiss Touit, Samyang, Viltrox and others, and simple adapters take old Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta and Contax manual lenses.
This isn't the old Fujica X-mount from the film era, and Fujica X lenses need an adapter. Adapted SLR lenses work in manual focus and stop-down aperture only.
