Nikon Z mount cameras

Nikon announced the Z mount on August 23, 2018 with the full-frame Z7 and Z6. It's a 55 mm throat with a 16 mm flange distance, the widest of any full-frame mount, and the short flange lets lenses from almost any older system be adapted. Nikon launched it alongside the FTZ adapter for F-mount lenses and later added the FTZ II.

F-mount lenses need the FTZ or FTZ II adapter, and Z-mount teleconverters can't be used with it.
